A wonder, indeed.
2016 marks the 75th-year anniversary for Wonder Woman. Since her debut in 1942, the Amazonian princess has endured more than just belligerent gods; she’s yet to have her own film—until now. And lucky for us, we’ve been given a gorgeous movie poster and the first ever trailer for the Wonder Woman movie which debuts next year. Not only are we treated to a vibrant color pallette, it appears the movie has heart, humor and plenty of action to appease our nerdy appetities. So while I retreieve my jaw from the floor, I highly recommend you check out the footage for yourself.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
‘Wonder Woman’, starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins, premieres June 7, 2017
